The challenge
DB Schenker needed to hire new employees for its warehouse in Rudná near Prague. Without them, they wouldn’t be able to deliver on a contract with a Silicon Valley tech giant. We had to hire 1,500 people – mostly blue-collar workers. Within a year. At a time when hardly anyone was changing jobs.
- How do you hire 1,500 people near Prague in record time?
- What would convince blue-collar workers to switch to DB Schenker?
-
And how do you convince the client that without
a campaign, hiring at this scale simply won’t happen?
The solution
We built a large-scale online recruitment campaign centered around one key promise: job security. Our research showed it’s the strongest motivator for blue-collar workers. At the same time, we created an employer brand DB Schenker can rely on long-term.
- The warehouse in Rudná successfully launched, and the company met its contract obligations.
- We found a concept that clearly communicated the value of a stable job – and attracted the right candidates.
- DB Schenker now has a strong, effective employer brand in place.
