Life insurance Flexi:
growing in a falling market.

Kooperativa ditched a successful model – and found an even better one.

Sometimes, even a model that works needs to go. Kooperativa had built FLEXI’s communication around short-term promo offers that delivered quick wins, but also predictable dips afterwards.
So we helped shift the mindset: away from one-off sales pushes and towards long-term, consistent brand communication tied to prevention. The payoff? Steady growth in a market where others were shrinking.

We build brands for the long run – consistently, credibly, and without losing relevance.

Long-term thinking

With FLEXI, we left behind the “only here,
only now” promo mechanics and backed
a long-term concept built on prevention and professionalism. The goal was simple: make the brand feel as trustworthy as possible.

More than just life insurance

We presented FLEXI as more than just life insurance – a broader service built around prevention. To bring that idea to life, we focused on a father who wants to be there for his family for as long as possible.

Creativity backed by data

To keep the long-running child-and-father motif relevant, we based the creative on exclusive research into Czech families. That led to
the Mirroring concept – children reflecting
their parents’ unhealthy habits.

TV spots, digital

The campaign ran across TV, online, and
an interactive test on Kooperativa’s website.
It showed people how healthy their lifestyle was compared to others – and let them
take out insurance on the spot.

More than 30% market share

Even in a crowded, declining life insurance market, FLEXI began to grow steadily and sustainably. Its market share climbed above 30% – without relying on short-term promo campaigns to drive sales.

One idea, more products

We didn’t stop with life insurance. The Mirroring concept also helped Kooperativa launch its new self-sufficiency insurance product, with spots like Kadibouda and Cyklovýlet connecting strongly with audiences.

The challenge

As a leader in the life insurance market, FLEXI had spent years relying on short-term discount campaigns. They worked extremely well – but every spike was followed by
a slump. The question was: could those ups and downs be turned into stable, long-term growth?

  • Can life insurance sales keep growing without one-off campaigns?
  • How do we make FLEXI feel more trustworthy, professional, and reliable?
  • How do we stay consistent while keeping pace with social change?

The solution

Instead of chasing short-term results, we chose long-term consistency. We positioned FLEXI as a broad service built around prevention and professional care, with life insurance as just one part of the offer.

  • We helped FLEXI grow in a market
where competitors were losing ground.
  • Through TV spots, a digital campaign, and a dedicated website, we linked the brand with the theme of prevention.
  • To shape the creative, we leaned on exclusive research on Czech families by Perfect Crowd.
